I just realized that I didn't post my last pregnancy photo, oops! So, here is a three week time lapse in 3 seconds! It is really very exciting. Wait for it . . .
30 weeks!
Time sure does fly. Only 9 weeks to go. Eek! This pregnancy has been going surprisingly well, but I am still waiting for it to go downhill at 32 weeks like the last one did. I have my fingers crossed that it will be smooth sailing to the end!
In other news, spring has sprung! Somehow we managed to pick a somewhat cold day this last week to make a little trip to a nearby farm, Gale Woods Farm, part of the Three Rivers Park district. This summer we have bought a half-share in their Community Supported Agriculture program (CSA). We will be making a weekly trip to the farm to pick up, and sometimes pick ourselves, our share of freshly grown organic vegetables and fruit. I am excited for it to begin in mid-June! Since we are not able to grow our own garden and our nearest farmer's market is rather small the CSA should provide a great abundance for us!
We decided to check out the farm so we know exactly where we are going this summer.
Most of the animals were in the barn, which was closed at the time. We did get to see plenty of chicken though!
Evan loved the chickens, and reminded us of how Elijah was at his same age visiting the chickens at the zoo.
We walked a little to see the sheepdogs and the cows. Both of the boys liked the dogs, or as Evan says, "Arf, arf."
A "selfy" at the farm. I never get to be in any pictures!
Sunday, we shed our coats and headed out to our "backyard" patio. Elijah had been asking to ride his bike lately, so we had to cease the opportunity!
